It wouldn't let me add these pics to my last post so here are just a few random living/dining and stairs pictures. The living room looks into the green room and the bottom of the stairs. The dining room side looks into the kitchen. The green room has a door from the kitchen and also one at the bottom of the stairs. The kitchen leads to the entry which leads to the bathroom on the left and the back door on the right.

A few more of the living room. Front door is being switched out with the same door, just one that swings the right way. We probably won't get to the baseboard trim until next year. Also, we had to put laminate flooring over the original that we refinished. We love the ease of the laminate, a lot easier to clean up after the kids!




The living room is my favorite room. The colors are really soothing and warm. All of the colors flow together well though and I love that you can see so many of them from one spot. Definitely a plus to having a small house:) Hopefully I'll get the upstairs pictures up soon. Right now, I'm thankful to have three sleeping girls(and one snoring husband on the couch) and am enjoying the silence, except for the snoring! :)

Our kitchen from the entry and looking into the living/dining room. We dont have anywhere to hang our coats yet, so they hang on this steel shelf in the kitchen. Our rough stairs! We love our handrails. They came out of a highschool that was being remodeled, lots of history in them!

Everytime I'm ready to take pictures of the house, it is too messy. So here is a semi-clean house for your viewing pleasure. Just the bottom floor for now, kids are sleeping upstairs:)
Stairs are still as they were, steap, deadly and splattered with texture, etc. I tried to take pictures of rooms going into rooms so you could get an idea of room placement, etc

Garage is Finished!

Finally an update. 5 months later our garage is basically done. We haven't parked inside of it yet(still have to clean it up!) Hopefully we'll get it all organized and picked up before the North Dakota snow hits. I love my storage space, love it!!

Garage Underway

Finally getting rid of the eyesore:)






We needed to grandfather in the location of the garage and the footing and studs were secure and straight, etc so we are reroofing and adding an 8x22 storage section just for me! :) I can't wait. My brother Levi is doing the work along with Dale and some help from Jeffrey and Michael. We appreciate it SO much:)

Still Working

Haven't posted in a long time as we'd been taking a break from all the hard work. But, we are at it again:)



Kitchen cabinets with knobs, still havent decided what to do above cabinets.


Outside of new door, minus the glass storm door. This is the west side of the house and it absolutely bakes in the afternoon/evening.


Inside of new door, minus trim. Only one door in the entire house has trim, the main floor bathroom:)

We are moved in and finishing up, slowly. So please excuse the mess and the clutter as not many things are where they belong.
It's been quite a job unpacking and taking care of the 3 girlies!

Moving Things In

Kitchen tile is in and a lot of our stuff is moved in. We are just waiting on the electrician to finish putting our outlets, etc in.
